FormattheMediaCard

Youcanformatyourmediacardtohelpresolveanissuewiththemediacard.Whenyouformatyour

mediacard,allofyourmediacarddataisdeleted.

Swipedownfromthetopofthescreenandtap Settings>Storage and Access.

2. TapFormat Media Cardandfollowthepromptstoformatthecard.

Warning: Theformattingprocedureerasesallthedataonthemediacard,afterwhichthefiles

CANNOTberetrieved.Topreventthelossofimportantdata,pleasecheckthecontentsbeforeyou

formatthecard.

WipeDatafromtheMediaCard

Tohelpprotectyourprivacy,youcanpermanentlydeleteallofyourmediacarddata.Dependingon

theamountofdata,thisprocessmighttakesometime.

2. TapErase Media Cardandfollowthepromptstoerasethedata.

3. Onceithasfinished,youmustformatthecardtouseitagain.

SetUSBMassStorageOption

IfyousettheUSBMassStorageoptiontoOn,yourmediacardcontentsareaccessibleonlyfrom

theUSBdevicetowhichyoursmartphoneisconnected.Thisallowsyoutouseyoursmartphoneas

aUSBdrive,suchastoplaymusicfromyourcar’sstereo.
