more descriptive logging In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1, the BlackBerry Enterprise Server log files displayed insufficient
information for the sibling files of a .cod file (for example, the modules to which the sibling files belonged).

module to which siblings files of a .cod file belong and the parts of the module that is being queued.

future appointment status In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, in Microsoft® Outlook®, the ‘free/busy’ status for users
not using Microsoft Outlook did not appear for appointments scheduled two months into the future and later.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, you can set the minimum and maximum number of
months for which you want the status to appear by adding two DWORD values to the registry.
1. At the command prompt, type regedit.
2. In the left pane, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise
Server\Agents.
3. Create a DWORD value called MIN_FREE_BUSY_MONTHS.
4. Set the value to the minimum number of months in the future for which you want the busy status to appear.
5. Create a DWORD value called MAX_FREE_BUSY_MONTHS.
6. Set the value to the maximum number of months in the future for which you want the busy status to appear.
7. Click OK.

Key issues
SDR 92799 In environments where multiple BlackBerry Enterprise Servers shared the same BlackBerry Configuration Database, if you
attempted to upgrade one BlackBerry Enterprise Server to Version 4.1, a registry key might have used excessive BlackBerry
Configuration Database resources. The registry key scanned the BlackBerry Configuration Database to search for information
to populate into the configuration tables.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 89132 If you upgraded from BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.0 to Version 4.1, the BlackBerry Synchronization Service started the
wireless slow synchronization backup and restore process for all BlackBerry device users.
If you upgrade from BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.0 to Version 4.1 SP1, this issue is resolved.
Visit www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic to read article KB-05169 for more information.
SDR 88132 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if you edited the PIM Sync Policy Group properties for an IT policy rule,
wireless calendar synchronization did not occur normally.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 87449 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if a meeting invitee dismissed a reminder with Microsoft Outlook Web
Access, duplicate reminders appeared on their BlackBerry device.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 87445 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if you changed an instance of a recurring entry with Microsoft Outlook
Web Access, a duplicate entry displayed on the BlackBerry device; deleting an instance with Microsoft Outlook Web Access did
not delete that instance from the BlackBerry device.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 85146 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if a meeting organizer updated a single instance of a meeting series and
later updated the meeting series, the meeting organizer retained the updated exception instance, but the exception in the
attendee’s calendar was overwritten by the update to the meeting series.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
SDR 88404 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, when you created user accounts on the same messaging and
collaboration server and the user accounts were assigned to BlackBerry Messaging Agents, if the BlackBerry Messaging Agents
had ServerDN values of characters that were not the same case (for example, ServerDN=/O= and ServerDN=/o=), the user
accounts were not grouped together on the same BlackBerry Messaging Agent.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, user accounts are grouped together on the same BlackBerry Messaging
Agent regardless of the ServerDN value case.
SDR 81816 In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 and earlier, if the connection to the BlackBerry Configuration Database became
unavailable and then was restored while the BlackBerry Policy Service was creating XML-based service books, the BlackBerry
Policy Service might have been restarted by the BlackBerry Controller.
In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Version 4.1 SP1 and later, this issue is resolved.
