Installing the WebSphere Portal composite application support for Lotus Notes using command line

parameters

You can also install the Notes server client installer on the portal server using the silent or console install

methods.

Silent mode

Use the following command line to install the Notes server client installer in silent mode:

setup.exe -silent -V licenseAccepted=true -P installLocation="c:\hannover"

-silent

Runs the installer in silent mode

-V LicenseAccepted=true

Sets the variable to accept the license agreement panel

-P installLocation="<

install location

Sets the Product bean in the installer to install the client in the entered location

If you have configured your Web server or Portal server to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and are using

a self-signed test certificate, see "Additional step if Web server or Portal server use Secure Sockets Layer

(SSL)" above.

Console mode

Use the following command line to install the Notes server client installer in console mode and mask the

user interface panels:

setup.exe -console

The following flags are available:

-P <product bean>.<property>="<value>"

Sets a product bean's value

-W <wizard bean>.<property>="<value>"

Sets a wizard bean's value

-G <property>=<value>

Sets a global wizard variable

-V <property>=<value>

Sets a control variable, such as a panel's radio button

-log #!<filepath/name> @ALL

Logs all events to a log file, for example setup.exe -log !C:\log.txt @ALL.

The # flag is optional and is used to echo the logged events to standard output.
