Configuring a Blackberry Q10 (BlackBerry 10 OS) for use with CUIT LionMail

1. Getting started

a. If you haven’t already, create your LionMail Device Password

b. Enable IMAP in LionMail

i. Sign in to LionMail

ii. From your LionMail Inbox, click the gear icon in the upper-right and select Settings

iii. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP

iv. Select Enable IMAP

v. Click Save Changes when you're done

2. On the BlackBerry Home Screen, scroll right until the Settings icon appears, tap on Settings

3. In System Settings, tap on Accounts

4. At the bottom of the Accounts Settings screen, tap on the Add Account icon

5. At the bottom of the Add Account screen, tap on the Advanced Setup icon

6. In Advanced Setup, tap on Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync

7. In the Add Account screen enter the requested information:

a. Description: My LionMail Account (or whatever you want to call it)

b. Domain: columbia.edu

c. Username: Your UNI

d. Email Address: UNI@columbia.edu

e. Password: Your LionMail Device Password

f. Server Address: m.google.com

g. Port: 443

h. Use SSL: On

i. Use VPN: Off

j. Push: On

k. Sync Timeframe: 30 days
