For my proof of concept application, I used the MIDP, CLDC and BlackBerry APIs. The

name of my project application is “Weight Tracker” which allows a user to keep track of

their weight changes on their BlackBerry.

Requirements

The following table details the requirements for Weight Tracker:

A user will be able to review instructions on how to use Weight Tracker.

A user will be able to retrieve the weight goal.

A user will be able to update the weight goal.

A user will be able to add weigh-ins.

A user will be able to retrieve weigh-ins.

A user will be able to retrieve the weight change calculation.

A user will be able to retrieve the percentage of progress to goal

calculation.

The system will be able to store a weight goal.

The system will be able to store a history of weigh-ins.

The system will be able to calculate weight change (Last Weigh-in less

First Weigh-in).

The system will be able to calculate the percentage of progress to goal

((First Weigh-in less Last Weigh-in)/ (First Weigh-in less Weight Goal)).
